A confused man with tousled hair just looked at the woman.

After half an hour of silence, everything returned to the same: something slammed, a fuss began, children’s voices and crying were heard.
The neighbor got angry, and again went upstairs, persistently called the same apartment above her.
A boy of twelve opened the door.
-“Where is your father?” the neighbor asked.
-“My brother in the kitchen overturned a pot of jelly, – the boy said cheerfully, – Dad is cleaning.
The neighbor’s face changed noticeably, seeing several more attentive pairs of eyes peering out of the room.
-Where is mom?
The boy thought for a few seconds, lowering his eyes, and said.

The woman crumpled a little on the rug near the door, but then confidently walked into the kitchen.
In the kitchen, her husband was cleaning the jelly from the floor with napkins.

It took a lot of time to clean the kitchen from the remnants of jelly. But the children did not interfere, they were busy and the elders managed to do everything. Cleaning the kitchen smoothly went into the preparation of dinner.
-“Dinner is ready!” she called the children to the kitchen. She sat them down and fed them. She assigned the eldest to wash the dishes while the father ate dinner.
It was then that the man realized that this woman had appeared in his life for a reason.
The woman began to often visit the neighbor with his family, helped.
And almost a year later, her doorbell rang.
Children were standing on the threshold with a bouquet of flowers and a big cake.
-“Be my wife,” the man proposed, opening the box with the ring.
-And be our mother! – the children shouted in chorus.
The woman’s eyes seemed about to fill with tears.
-I have a condition, – she raised her finger up, – only if you agree to another brother or sister.
-We agree! – the children answered in chorus.
There are those who condemn the man for shifting the care of his children to this woman. They do not understand how the woman decided to have a seventh child. They believe that they should cope on their own, since they made such a decision.
But she is happy, and maybe this was her destiny – to be a mother of seven children at once and marry a man with whom she wants to live and build a bright and happy future.
And children – children will grow up soon, and it will be easier, right?
