The girl barely rolled the stroller out of the entrance. You bet – their five-story building without an elevator was not adapted for her wide stroller. Thank God the twins did not wake up from the shaking. Otherwise, there would have been a double scream for the whole yard.
The woman rolled the stroller into the park, away from the entrance, namely from the old ladies who occupied the bench. Again, they would ask with sneering smiles what was going on. Well, the old generation does not like incomplete families … The girl herself would like her family to be complete, but alas … Her husband was absolutely not ready for family life, and especially for children. He just could not stand them.
And when he found out that the girl was pregnant, he began to persuade her to do something. But she refused to do anything. After all, it was her child, she had to bear and raise the child. The man ate her whole brain, kept persuading her to get rid of the baby. And when he found out that there were two children, he disappeared in an instant. He did not even take all the things with him. And what about the girl? She cried, cried for a month and calmed down. Especially since the guys were already pushing with all their might. The woman calmed down by talking to them, singing them songs, and they answered her with friendly pushes. The girl, of course, deep in her heart cherished the hope that after the birth of the twins the prodigal husband would return, but it did not happen. The woman tried to do everything herself, but there were things that fragile female hands could not cope with. In the children’s room she had a sofa in a disassembled state, on which she was going to sleep near the crib. But she did not have enough strength to assemble it herself.
While looking through a free newspaper, the girl came across an ad “husband for an hour”. It was just what she needed now. The woman picked up the phone and dialed the number. “The man” came about two hours later. He immediately went to the nursery and started messing with the sofa. The twins looked, looked at the new man, and then burst into tears. And the girl, as luck would have it, had milk boiling on the stove. The woman rushed there. But they suddenly calmed down.When the mother returned to the room, she found a touching picture. The “man for an hour” was sitting on his knees near the babies’ crib and saying something to them in their language. Little men seriously looked at their interlocutor and answered him. “You are good with children. – You should be a teacher”.
“I myself have two … was …” – the man replied and turned away.
“Let’s go for tea” – the woman suggested to somehow smooth the situation. Having rolled the kids in a stroller and put them next to her, the girl poured the man some tea. “You will forgive me for my reaction, – the guy said, – a year ago I lost my wife and two sons. You may have heard … I could not live there. I moved here, to my homeland. I really love children, probably I will not get used to the fact that I am no longer a father. Although I will always be theirs”
When he said this, the girl had tears in her eyes. And then she, succumbing to a momentary impulse, came up and hugged the guy. And for ten minutes they were silent and cried together. And then the man quietly asked: “Can I come tomorrow?” The girl nodded and smiled through her tears … He came, he did not deceive. And soon he stayed. Each of them found in each other what they desperately needed
