My husband and I recently took out a mortgage. Since then guests have been coming to our house all the time. To see everything with their own eyes.
My husband says I should have kept it a secret. But I didn’t say anything, my mom was the one who blabbed it to everyone. A couple of hours later the doorbell rang again. This time it was my sister with a suitcase and a baby in her arms. She said I had to register her son so he could go to day care, and hers so she could get a job. We didn’t stay long, just for two years. I was shocked, she didn’t even call me. Said I’d start making excuses, so she showed up without telling me. But this is her chance to change her life.
She’ll look for a husband, get a job. I tried to tell her it wasn’t right. We don’t even have room for them. But my sister didn’t care, she acted like I was in her house. She opened the fridge, took a bite out of the ham, sliced the pickles.
I repeated again that it would be just the two of us and my husband. My sister has already decided that she will sleep on the couch with us, and we will buy a crib for the baby. The nerve and nothing more… She started talking nonsense, saying that she would tell her husband that I was a whore. She called Igor and began to scandalize. She made up stories to break us up.
She also asked him to marry her. Spouse calmly watched this circus. He took her sister and child by the arms and led them out the door with the suitcase. For about two hours she was still screaming in the entryway. In the morning my mother called me and she was furious. She insulted me for what I had done and told me that she no longer had a family.
It just so happened that we bought an apartment, and along with that we saw the real faces of some relatives. But it was for the best. Now my husband and I live a peaceful and happy life. And the cheeky people have left our life of their own free will․
