I was able to understand the simple truths in life thanks to my grandmother, who always gave me wise advice and guidance, and even what was incomprehensible, she always spoke in an accessible language. As a child, I always went to my grandmother, there I could watch cartoons from morning till evening, she did not forbid me, sometimes I watched a program in which people expressed their opinions.
Once on such a program, I heard that a man said that a woman is needed only to keep the house in order, to look after the children, and the woman herself does not play an important role in society. I remember that I was very outraged and decided to ask my grandmother what she thought about this. I asked my grandmother why they always say that women do not play an important role, to which my grandmother said that a woman should first of all be strong and independent for herself. According to my grandmother, a woman should never depend on her husband, she should get an education first, find a good job, be self-sufficient and only then arrange her personal life.
I listened to my grandmother and understood that she was right, as I had heard a lot about men divorcing their wives and leaving them in a hopeless situation, not knowing how to feed themselves and their children. Now my grandmother is gone, but I still remember her advice and try to make her proud of me, I have a husband who loves me and does not treat me as a servant. I believe that every woman should value herself first and foremost and not hold on to a man who wipes his feet on her. I think that many women will agree with me that you need to be the best for yourself first of all.
