At 50, my husband and I sleep in separate rooms. Is it normal?

Let’s talk about whether it is normal to live with her husband in separate rooms. For some reason it’s a topic that a lot of people care about. If there are questions, then we will talk. I specifically asked my acquaintances – how do they live? And I realized that probably 90% of couples live this way:

she in the bedroom, he in the living room;
in the same room, but on different beds.

That is, no one or almost no one shares the family bed together. Why? You have to dig a little deeper:
It’s unpleasant;
the husband snores and I want to sleep;
the wife snores and I want to sleep too;
intimately;
disgusting;
nothing in common;
we live as neighbors, and we don’t need anything else.

On the basis of all this we can say: living with your husband in separate rooms is normal. More than normal. And there is no need to make a problem out of it.

In my opinion, if people’s activities, their family life, their views and actions do not cause problems for others, then let them do what they want. It does not harm me. Especially since the people in the family are not complaining. It’s not because they were so good, but because it was uncomfortable, bad. And it’s good when a family has two separate rooms, so they can separate and live well. But if people have to put up with each other in one room, that’s the problem. So, it’s okay, friends. You don’t have to worry about anything!
