Sarah was left early without a husband. She raised her two daughters by herself. No one had ever heard a single complaint from her. Her daughters not only grew up, but also received a decent education. Their mother also helped them. She worked two jobs to pay for their education.
And then the eldest brought a guy and said that he was her future husband, only he had nowhere to live. Then she gave birth, and had to give the young family a room, and Sarah herself went to live with her daughter.
At first, the woman thought it was only temporary. The young couple would earn their own place, and her life would be the same as before. But her daughter and son-in-law did not try too hard. Where do we get the money?”. And so we stayed.
The last straw was when the youngest brought her boyfriend, “Mom, he’s from another city, he’s going to live with us”. Sarah wondered, “Where? In the kitchen?” But the daughter apparently expected to hear a similar question, so she calmly explained that the kitchen is not very comfortable. But if her mother moved into the kitchen, they would have a room to themselves.
Sarah couldn’t take it anymore. She realized at one point that no one took her opinions and interests into account. And if they had to, they would then draw up papers to send her mother to a home for the elderly.
She gave her an ultimatum: “Two weeks to pack your things and find another place to live. The daughters took offense, promised that they would not allow the mother to see her grandchildren. And in general she would be left alone at her old age.
But Sara didn’t back down. If this is what she is destined to do for all her efforts. Then so be it. It’s time for them to become independent.
