The grandmother pushed people who were standing in line to get to the doctor faster. But what the young people did seriously angered her

Elderly people should always be respected. After all, adults are smarter, wiser, have lived more and know life better and deserve respect. There are people who cause not the best feelings. This is what happened in the local clinic. There was a long queue for tests. Now they write out coupons for the right hour, and the patient’s number is displayed on the scoreboard hanging from the ceiling. But this day, for some reason, the scoreboard was damaged, and the doctors were late, so I had to take a queue and wait. There were a few more people in front of me, but there were more and more people.

Then an old lady with a cane came up and was surprised to see such a long queue. She had a ticket for nine o’clock, and she demanded to go ahead. Everyone was indignant. They explained that the coupon was not valid now, that the scoreboard was damaged, that everyone also had coupons, but they had to stand in a live queue. But the old woman did not want to listen, she said that she was an adult and an elderly man who had seen many hardships. Finally, the laboratory opened, and the queue began to move forward. But the grandmother pushed everyone away and went to the reception window. There were young people in front. I thought that the boys would let grandma pass, but they were not going to do it.

If she had asked them to let her pass, maybe they would have agreed. They did not make such a concession. The girl standing in front of me also did not allow the old lady to go ahead. Honestly, I felt sorry for her, I wanted to offer her to stand in front of me, but she had already calmed down, and with a drooping face sat down on a chair and began to wait for her turn. After this occasion, I was left with an unpleasant aftertaste on my soul. Maybe we are doing wrong, maybe we should be more tolerant to the elderly? After all, we must remember that our life is a boomerang: what you sow, you reap.
