The woman inherited a huge, 6-room apartment from another man. Three rooms in the apartment were occupied by her stepdaughter with her husband and his two children from her first marriage. One was occupied by the first husband with his new wife. And two more rooms were occupied by the owner of the apartment. However, this situation did not suit her roommates, and they demanded her to vacate one of their rooms. Remarkably, the tenants could not decide who would live in the vacated room. They were always arguing and quarreling. But this did not stop them from boycotting the old woman, when she refused to leave.
The woman noticed that neighbors, with whom she had to communicate from time to time, began to be rude to her in response. Her food began to disappear, her things disappeared. In general, the residents arranged various nasty things and made her life difficult. The woman decided not to tease fate and run away from the residents. “Suddenly they will decide on more radical measures. I will go, away from sin, to my friend” she thought. She called her friend and the next day moved to her. A year later the doorbell rang. When she opened the door, she saw a woman and an unfamiliar man. – And who is this with you? – This is the new owner of this apartment, – the woman introduced the man.
– What? What’s a “new landlord”? The guy pushed the woman away from the door and went into the apartment, throwing over his shoulder “The rightful owner!”. He knocked loudly on all the doors and called all the residents to the big room. When everyone was gathered, the guy said that having bought the apartment, he was now the sole and absolute owner. And he added: “Get out of here. I give you a month to do it… The son of a friend, having learned about the woman’s trouble, offered to buy the apartment next door to his mother, to repair, furnish and then buy the woman’s 6-room apartment.
