The man’s mother, despite the fact that she had been a pensioner for several years, still constantly took care of herself, went to visit her friends, to the theater and to the cinema. The son, of course, was not against his mother’s entertainment, but the problem was different. The fact is that the man did not have an apartment, so he and his wife had to live with his mother, but the wife was not against it, believing that the grandmother would be able to look after her grandchildren.
As soon as the mother-in-law found out that her daughter-in-law was going to come out of maternity leave and get a job, she asked her who would look after the children, because her son was always at work, coming home late. The woman said that the children have already grown up and she will be able to look after them, especially since the girls are very obedient and kind. In response to this, the mother-in-law said that she had no desire and no time to take care of her grandchildren, as she already had plans for the week ahead. The woman could not understand how her own grandmother is ready to spend her time and money for no reason, while her daughter-in-law does not know how to finish the housework.
The woman told her husband about all this, and he, knowing his mother, was not surprised, and told his wife not to worry at all, because she would be able to go to work, and they would hire a nanny. The grandmother, having learned that they were going to pay a nanny, said that she would be able to look after the children herself, but for a certain amount of money, of course. The woman and her husband decided not to bother the grandmother and hired a nanny, as she was still unhappy that they were taking up her time and paying her little for her work.
