I was introduced to the girl by our common colleague. I can’t say that I was crazy about her. I don’t know how and why, but we started dating. She loved me very much and I knew it. Probably her love kept me close to her, not my feelings. She was a real bore. She could ruin my whole day with a remark that my hair was the wrong way up, or I had chosen the wrong clothes for the theater. Once she asked me to return the cake I bought for our 14th of February because, in her opinion, there was not enough filling, and she thought it was a defective cake. In general, a year later the girl began to hint at the wedding, and I realized that I could not live with her all my life.
Yes, her remarks at first seemed childish and amused me, yes, it was comfortable with her sometimes, but still, I did not consider her as a wife. Then she brought me a test with two strips. I did not believe it at first, because theoretically, it could not be, but the test was in my hands. I decided to resign myself to the idea that I would have to spend the rest of my life next to a bore who was going to keep me as a child and not as myself. A few weeks later, a new girl came to us. She immediately hooked me, to be honest, with her figure, and then we got to know each other, and I realized that she was interesting to me not only externally. We had a lot of common topics. We could talk for hours.
Once I didn’t even watch the clock and after work we stayed with her in a coffee shop for 4 hours. One day she called me and said that we urgently needed to talk. It turned out that she was offered to assemble a team to work in a branch of our company in another country, and she mentioned me first of all. It was a chance, a ticket to a new life, but when I told the girl that I was going on a business trip, she cried, started screaming so that the neighbors knocked, and then my and her relatives started calling me one by one with demands to stay with her.
So I missed my chance and stayed with the girl. Two months later I asked my wife why she did not agree to go for an ultrasound and why her belly was not growing. She again, as expected, cried and said that she showed me someone else’s test. She thought that she would get pregnant when we started living together and the timing of the test would coincide, but it did not happen. I did not forgive her, we broke up, although she made a big show of it. Then she often called me, asking me to give her a chance, her mother also called me, but I stood my ground. It’s been 12 years after that, and I’m still a bachelor. I never found she, neither in life nor on social networks, and I could not love another, although I tried, honestly.
