I really want to share my story. I am very confused, which of us is wrong and who is worth believing. Perhaps you can see from the outside and give me some good advice.
We have been married for two years. And all this time he communicates with his ex-wife.
When we got married, they had been divorced for a year. I knew about it. I also knew that they have a child together. Now the girl goes to the fourth grade. And I never prevented him from communicating with his own child. On the contrary, I believed that this is the right position and it is necessary to communicate with the daughter.
I myself went with them more than once on weekends to take my daughter from her mother. And then my husband started using it as a great excuse.
We do not have children of our own yet. Although we are planning to. I have some fears that my husband will love them less than my daughter from the first marriage. He is a very straightforward man. And more than once he said that he is tormented by a sense of guilt before the child.
My husband always goes to all parent-teacher conferences and line-ups with his ex-wife. I think some people do not even suspect that they are divorced.
He also often calls his ex-wife. He talks for hours. He writes letters. He often drops by after work. I still see him in our house less often than I see my first wife in my apartment.
It feels like the ex-husband reports our every move. I do not like it. A child will be a child, but it seems a bit too much. My beloved settled well – he lives for two families.
I told him about it more than once. I tried to resolve the situation peacefully. He only jokes. He says that he does all this only for the sake of the child. Although he perfectly sees how much this behavior annoys me.
Recently, we had a quarrel and my husband said this. I’m just his wife, he said, but his ex-wife is the mother of his child and he can’t just cut off contact with her. It did not calm me down. It only made me even more angry. A lot of money from the family budget goes to the first family. In addition to alimony, my beloved pays for all the whims of his girls. And I am left with nothing.
Why?
Because I haven’t given birth to his child yet? So I am not worth his attention? That’s absurd!
His ex filed for divorce herself. I remember how my mother-in-law told me with what scandals she kicked him out of the apartment. What a bad man she called him. And what has changed now? Why does she still communicate with him and accept financial assistance? It’s great to get money and not be a housewife in return. But for some reason I can’t do that. I have to wash his clothes, cook, and clean the house.
In short, I feel superfluous in this triangle. Why was it necessary to divorce and bother me?
Now I suspect everyone. I think that my ex wants to get my husband back. She realized who she lost and is now wagging her tail at him.
Maybe I should just pack my bags and leave. Not to interfere with their family happiness? And everything would be cool if I hadn’t found out I was pregnant. It happened a few days ago. I don’t know if I should tell my husband. And I’m confused. Maybe you can give some advice? What should I do?
