The daughter lived with her mother, so the domestic wisdom of women bypassed her.
The mother sometimes asked her to help with something, and the daughter never refused her. However, she did not even try to master housekeeping.
-Oh, my daughter, it will be hard for you when you get married. You will have so many troubles, and you are not ready, – her mother complained.
But the girl just laughed:
-Me and marriage? Never! I am happy with you, mother.
And suddenly he appeared.
Six months later the girl got married. He was a simple man and was very happy. The man looked at his young wife with admiration. He ate everything she cooked, regardless of taste. He wore poorly ironed shirts and did not complain about anything.
The girl herself felt that she was not a good hostess. And she started to work on herself.
She read several books, watched dozens of videos, even enrolled in courses. Having gained knowledge, the diligent wife began to apply it in practice.
The girl had never been interested in cooking, ironing, washing before. Everything was done as needed.
Now she began to cook, and more often and more diverse. The dishes turned out to be tastier every time, her husband liked them very much.
Then the girl became fond of cleaning. She washed, rubbed, did not let go of a rag from morning to evening. If she was washing, she immediately started ironing. She did not put anything off even for a day.
And she also studied at the institute and worked as a tutor. After six months, the girl was so exhausted that she transferred to the correspondence department. She thought that it would be easier. But then the problems began.
The circle of friends shrank dramatically. All postponed books were read, movies were watched.
The only full-fledged source of communication was her husband.
The girl was waiting for him from work, looking out the window every minute.
And he was in no hurry to come home. He would stay at work, then with a friend, then somewhere else, then somewhere else. It never occurred to him that the girl was very sad because of that.
The woman began to feel her dependence on her husband. The thought that her husband spends his free time after work not with her did not go out of her head. The girl began to think that she was doing something wrong, began to “take care” of her husband more diligently, not realizing that this aggravated the situation even more.
Everything she did was for him!
And then the accusations began that her husband did not appreciate her efforts, maybe he found another woman and fell out of love with her.
The man could not stand it and went to work.
The first days without her beloved, the girl just did not know what to do. Such emptiness was formed, movies and books were boring in a moment. She occupied her head with anything: she was constantly reading, watching something, searching, not knowing what exactly.
Conversations on the phone with her husband did not please. There was a feeling that it was the end, that they were moving away from each other. The girl completely gave up, cried, did not want to communicate with anyone.
And then, one day, she woke up with a great idea in her head.
She decided to create a website, a page on the Internet, anything. The idea inspired her, thoughts flowed like a river. Before she even started, she already knew what it would be about, what it would be for, what it would be for, and she was already thinking of the design. And the creative process began.
The first conversation with her husband, after the start of work on the project, went well: the girl enthusiastically told her husband that she had found something to do. What was it? Oh, it’s a secret! He will see everything later!
They talked cheerfully, naturally, as before. As if nothing had happened, as if there were no problems, worries and quarrels.
The next time the girl told her husband about her idea. She talked a lot, described what she had planned. He listened very attentively. And then he said:
-“I am so glad that you have found something to do, that you now have a purpose. I was worried that I was taking all your free time, that you were spending every minute of your life on me.
The girl suddenly realized what a huge mistake she had made, forgetting about herself, abandoning her hobbies.
She tried to become someone she was not for her husband.
After all, he fell in love with her not for her borscht and shiny floor. So why did she turn herself into an uninteresting, boring housewife with only cutlets on her mind?
It turned out that doing something that interests her, she was filled with energy and joy.
Her husband immediately felt it! Now every time he calls her, he says that he loves her, misses her and can’t wait to come home.
