– Daughter, should I expect you on Saturday?” I asked my daughter.

Friday came. I was looking forward to the weekend and carefully prepared. I wanted to treat my grandchildren to something delicious. On Saturday morning I cleaned the apartment and put myself in order. The table was set, I just had to wait for the guests to arrive. However, no one showed up. It’s a shame, but maybe something happened to them.
In general, I organized this meeting to give my daughter and son-in-law a significant amount of money. They could finally buy a car and come more often.
I called my daughter. She picked up the phone and answered sleepily:
– Hello. Mom, did you want something? Oh, I completely forgot that we had to come today.
– How come? I wasted all day yesterday getting ready. And today is my birthday… – I said with tears in my eyes.

The man knew many funny stories, and I told him about my life adventures.
We fell in love with each other. And before he left, he proposed to me:
– Let’s get married? I have an apartment and a good pension. We will be able to spend a lot of time together, walk in the park and go to museums, and in the summer travel to the sea!
– I don’t even know what to answer. I have children, grandchildren…
– And where will they go? They will come to visit us!” – he immediately reassured me.
At that moment, I immediately remembered what my daughter had done and immediately agreed.
When we returned home, there was a notice on my house asking to find the missing woman.
– Why didn’t you tell me that they were looking for you?” – the man was surprised.

– Didn’t you warn her that you were going on vacation?

– Mom, where did you disappear? – she shouted. – We’ve been looking for you everywhere!
– And I was on vacation. Imagine, I have my own personal affairs and troubles. And this is my fiancé. We plan to get married soon.
