Since school days it was very difficult for me to get along with my parents. We had completely different views on life, different tastes, and we quarreled a lot. For example, my mother liked to cook in a big pot for several days in advance. And I was sick already on the second day: if you eat one buckwheat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mom and dad were very fond of fatty foods, which gave me stomach aches. But they still added more and more mayonnaise and fat to the dishes. When I entered the university, I immediately moved out of their dormitory and lived with girls in a room. It was much calmer, although I felt like a guest. But at least the girls and I had respect for each other, and we did not make noise with the door and did not stomp on the floor if someone in the room was sleeping.
What can’t be said about my parents: even on a day off, they would get up at 6 am and start turning on the TV and shouting across the room. And then my fiancé appeared. He had his own apartment, so after the wedding I moved to him. We lived soul to soul. We supported each other in everything, we had full mutual understanding at all levels, including at home. I was very calm and comfortable living with him. But my mother said that it would be like that only for the first month, then there would be claims. However, more than six months have passed, and we still live well together. And then my parents decided to make repairs at home. They moved in with us for a while, and I remembered the hell that was with me at school.
Fatty foods that made me sick again. Again these noises and screams in the morning, although I am used to silence. But the most outrageous thing is how my mother comments on my and my husband’s appearance: “You’re wearing so much makeup to work… you should be ashamed of yourself, it would be better to be a little more modest… Are you going to work in this dress? I hope you change at the office, because it’s so tasteless. – Maybe you should tell your husband that this shirt doesn’t suit him at all, he looks like a little dwarf in it. I hope their renovation is finished soon and they move out. I’m tired of listening to all this as if I were 12 years old.
