She regretted only one thing: she did not give birth to a child from her husband and now has no one to live for.
Now the woman is 37 years old. She took in her cousin’s daughter. The girl is a first-year student who lived with the woman during her studies.
– You are still alone, and my daughter will help you with the housework and go shopping. She is hardworking, not a party girl, decent. Why does she need to huddle in a dormitory, if she has relatives in the capital?” – a distant relative persuaded the woman by phone. Of course, the woman did not take a single penny from the girl, but left everything to her. So the girl had a budget for her own needs.
Four years passed and the girl was already returning home from school. The woman was so used to her that she did not want to let the girl go. They were not sad together: on weekdays they always watched movies and talked about new boyfriends, and on weekends they went to the mall for shopping or entertainment. – I understand. Happiness and love to the newlyweds. Goodbye!” – the woman left the yard, carefully closing the gate behind her.
On the way, she called her relatives who live there and asked to visit them.
– “Of course, come! We will set the table!” – the answer cheered the woman up a bit.
– It’s horrible! We didn’t know. Don’t worry. We will make her so famous throughout the family that it will be hard to believe!” – a few hours later the woman was sitting at the table and listening to the words of condolence.
She went back and in the train she had a dream in which she was expecting a baby. Waking up, the woman thought where to look for this child? To get pregnant and give birth? She should have done it earlier.
Getting off the train, the woman’s eyes came across a huge social advertising with the image of children from the orphanage.

Six months passed and the woman took a closer look at one girl from the orphanage who spoke to her:
