This summer my wife’s beloved sister came to visit us. I called her everyone’s favorite, because during the get-togethers with my relatives, my mom, dad and everyone else talk only about her, she was an excellent student at school, she graduated from college, she got a job in her field, what is not an ideal daughter?
And the older one, in turn, not even finished the institute and got married. But they did not care about the fact that I was already fully wealthy, with its own business. I had an apartment and a car and a good income. But alas, the best daughter was still my younger sister.
And then this summer, my wife’s sister came to visit us and asked me for a loan, allegedly wants to take a mortgage and she does not have enough for a down payment. For me it was not such a large sum, so I had no problem lending it to her. And the fact that she works in the state institution, said that the salary will not be delayed, and it will pay the money in time.
So she borrowed the money and almost swore to pay it back every month. Just a week later, she flew away to the sea. Honestly, I was very confused by this news, as a person who lacked a down payment on the mortgage, was able to find money for the rest.
She took a good vacation, told her relatives that she had been saving for this trip for a whole year, but there was one interesting fact: she still had not taken out a mortgage. I asked her about it and she answered that she changed her mind to take the apartment.
I asked for a refund of the money she borrowed, to which she told me she had no money and spent it all on the sea. It then dawned on me that she was not going to take any apartment, but simply borrowed it for the sea.
I politely asked her to pay the debt as soon as possible, because I gave it for the purchase of the apartment, but not for a trip to the sea. Her answer really offended me:
-You make a lot of money, you can wait, now there is no money. How do you think this story ended? Yes precisely because she told her mother-in-law that I demanded money from her ahead of schedule, and this is not the way to treat relatives, and as a result the youngest daughter was an angel, and we are rich monsters!
