I am a mother on maternity leave with two beautiful children, one of whom came five years ago and the other recently. I will tell you a situation that has happened to me. Please help me deal with this obsession of cowards in my life.
It all started with a list my mother-in-law gave me after the wedding. There were many items on there, like the fact that my husband is allergic to certain foods, I’m watching out for that. But one of the items was that we have to iron the underpants, because not ironed rubbed him one place, but not the point.
I was fine with that, thinking she was a caring mom. After all, it’s such a good thing when a mom takes care of her child. I followed all of her advice on the list, it wasn’t hard. But ironing my underwear surprised me, because my mom and I had never ironed, anyone’s underwear.
We had a son, at first we used diapers, and when we switched to panties, I automatically started ironing his underwear as well. Considering that now ironing underpants for 2 people – formed mountains of ironing from underpants. I continued to obediently iron, because my husband’s mother believed that the effects of the hot iron and steam killed germs. She even said that our son, we got from the first time because ironing panties is very important for the health of the genitals.
All in all, it’s not about my husband’s mom, it’s about having a second child. It’s hard for me to get everything done “on time” now, I think moms with two kids when one of them is a newborn will understand me. I try to devote time to important things, but the “Everest” of underpants keeps growing.
My husband notified me yesterday that there were no more underpants on the shelf, hinting that they needed to be ironed. I was tired and asked to get underwear from the unironed pile.
But my husband called my mother-in-law when I went to bed, and said that his wife has no time. Then I became very offended for me. And all because of some underpants.
Do you children iron underwear? If so, then until when? And is there any way to speed up the ironing process?
