After reading a lot of stories here, I noticed that for the most part women write, and the commentators are also mostly women. And supposedly one gets the impression that in this case there is the usual female solidarity. Men (whose numbers are much inferior) tend to justify almost any behavior of men about whom confessions are written.
I’ll tell my story briefly. On New Year’s Eve, it so happened that the 31st and 1st I have a working shift, but it does not prevent me after work, on the 31st to prepare festive meals and bring myself in order. At the same time naturally happy and anticipating that very soon all will gather around the table and fatigue is replaced by relaxation and good humor. The man with whom we are together for almost four years, not burdened by work during the holidays, but he does not try to help in the pre-New Year’s preparations, and just waits quietly lying on the couch. Actually, nobody has anything against it, because cooking is a woman’s job, considering that the man is not a cook and has no cooking skills at all.
And now everyone is gathered at the table, everyone is happy, the guests are praising the cooked food. Then companionable conversation, dancing. One of the men present (who is with his wife, like everyone else) remarks that he is a little jealous of my man, that he has such a woman. In the same way, his wife is not stingy with her compliments about my appearance. At the same time, my man does not comment on what is happening, sitting there as if they were talking about a complete stranger.
And then near the end of the party, when everyone is already tipsy, he suddenly notices that I touch one of the men in the process of moving on the “intimate place”. And at a moment when I’m not even expecting, strongly pushes me from behind, from which I fall down and get bruises and bruises. After which, of course, the holiday is ruined, and I retired to my room. The next morning he said that he had no reason to allegedly accidentally touch other men.
It begs the question, what else needs to be done (in addition to cooking a delicious meal, clean up, give gifts), in order for everything to be good, and the man was proud of his woman, and not sit back, as if his ego in something pinched? There will probably be male commenters now, too, who will say that there must have been some background that should justify such behavior.
I am not a follower of feminism, and there is no goal of blaming men, just why should only women think about how to maintain a long-lasting union. And judging by the fact that most of those who “confess” are women, we conclude that they supposedly need the most. And the men are in charge. But for some reason, many of them do not behave like men.
