You never know what will happen in life and how things will turn out over the years. But sometimes fate throws up some very pleasant surprises. And recently I was glad of such a surprise just like a little child.
About 15 years ago I met a guy. His name is Jack – handsome, educated, he has everything. But I had a heavy character, it was not easy for us to build a relationship. We separated, I left town, and I never saw him again. But over the years I remembered that if I had had another chance, I would have done things differently.
What do you think, the phone rings. I pick up the phone – Jack’s on the other line. After 15 years, he wanted to meet me. Said he missed me. Well, I said my address and here I was waiting for him a few days later.
It was decided that I would take my car to his place to pick him up, because he would not drive in his foreign car (after all, I live in a village, and the roads here are terrible).
In general, the day came, I dressed up, curled my hair, looked like a sweetie. I open the car, and it stinks like shit. The mouse is dead. What am I supposed to do, I gotta go. So I drove all the way with the windows open to meet him. And when I arrived, I was shocked – he was even more handsome, more statuesque, he looked like such a real man.
I thought he wanted to return our relationship, especially since he came with flowers. But as it turned out, he has a wife and two children. And why did he come to me? In general, sometimes you need to calm your character, so as not to lose an invaluable person.
