I am 30 years old. I work in a small organization with a team of women. Sometimes young people from other companies come to us for work. Among them there are both married and single men. There were even those who attracted my attention. I tried to pay attention to myself a couple of times.
One young man I really liked, he wouldn’t let go of my mind. I found his phone number in the papers, asked if he had a girlfriend and was told that he was single. He asked me where I worked and how I got his phone number. I replied that I worked at an organization and that he had been there. A short conversation ensued. He said that he was very pleased to meet new people. That was all. No answer, no greetings. Then one day I found out that he was on a dating site. There he met a nice girl and got married a month ago.
Why am I surprised, you may ask? I just can’t understand, is it really impossible to meet girls in reality and have to sit on web sites, are there any other kind of people there? Moreover, my colleagues, too, sit on the site, though one of them has already found her second suitor, just live together, he is happy with everything and is not going to burden himself with a family.
The situation is that even if there are free guys (and quite a few of them come to us), there’s no chance of finding anything at all. Lately, I can’t help but wonder.
