My mother-in-law is always licking her beloved daughter. She can’t get on with her life. Her mother helps her all the time, and now she demands that my husband and I do the same.
My husband’s little sister’s name is Christina. The whole family thinks she is the most unhappy person in the whole world. Yes, Christine is still single. One partner left her when she got pregnant. The other was with her for six months,and when it came to getting married,he ran away. I remember at least five of these kinds of people.
We’ve been married for three years Our son is two. We pay the mortgage. When I was on maternity leave, my husband made all the money himself. My parents helped out a little. My husband’s mom didn’t give a penny, just fed us stories about poor Christina and hinted that we could help, too.
And this despite the fact that Christina has her own apartment, which her mother-in-law gave as a gift.
– She didn’t want to live with me, but that’s right. She’s young, she needs to make a life for herself. You can’t take suitors to your mother, – my mother told her husband.
It was very strange to hear such a thing. When we said we were going to take out a mortgage, she looked at us and said it was all nonsense.
– You should have lived with me. It’s a one-bedroom apartment. You’re going to spend so much money, it’s a nightmare, that’s what we heard.
– Nobody wanted to give us an apartment. We’ll have to manage somehow,” Edik laughed at the time.
My mother-in-law took offense at his words, but didn’t say anything.
We did not really need her to help us. We managed everything ourselves. When my son was a year old, my mother became a pensioner and started helping with him. And I was able to go back to work. Our financial situation improved.

I decided to keep quiet so as not to fight. My husband’s mother never once offered to babysit her grandson. But Kristina’s daughter practically lived at her grandmother’s house while her mother built her personal life. And I could calmly explain exactly what those men didn’t like.
The fact is that Christina is not a homemaker at all, she’s lazy. She only wants to get married, she doesn’t spend any energy on other things. To impress the next man, her mother-in-law cooks all sorts of delicious things herself. Her daughter pretends to know how to cook.
She never wanted to work. Changing places, mostly living off her mother’s money.
– That’s because she’s a single mother! And they don’t like them. But she’s a hero. She should have a statue. They just want to ride her, that’s what my mother-in-law said after the layoffs.
When I went back to work, Christina was fired again. She was fed up with it all and decided not to look for anything temporarily. My mother-in-law started providing for her again. It seemed like nothing new. But this time her husband’s mother had other plans.
– Oh, you both go to work now? That’s great. Christine is having such a hard time, she needs her family’s support,” she ranted. My husband and I just sighed. It’s hard right now? Has it ever been easy? There are always problems: with work, or with men, or something else.
– Help her with money! Because winter’s coming and Christine doesn’t have a jacket or shoes.
– We have a small child and credit. We don’t make that much money, we barely have enough for ourselves. If my wife’s parents didn’t help, we wouldn’t make it,” my husband got angry.
