I am the victim of a selfish husband

I became a victim in my marriage. How did that happen? I don’t know.

I’ve been married to my husband for a relatively short time, only six years. And during this time he gradually turned me into a victim, just morally. Humiliated in every way that I do not earn enough, my relatives do not help, and in general I am bad for him. Although, living with me, at one time he grew up to be a boss, I helped him at work.

We had a child. It would seem that everything should be good. Then he got seriously ill, had to quit his job, had an operation, later a second, more successful one. My husband essentially became a full-fledged man. He hasn’t worked for three years now, I work alone, and I support my child by myself. My husband says that he cannot work yet, it is hard for him. At the same time he actively consumes alcohol, and travels a lot and often to help his mother, his aunt, and other relatives. When it comes to me, I hear in response, “Can’t you do it yourself?

So now I do everything myself, went to work remotely, as my previous job paid little, I spent a lot on travel. I am looking for another job to somehow provide for the future of the child and myself. And my husband … He does not cheat, only lives by his own rules (he cheated me from the first days), actively rests, sleeps until dinner, goes to his relatives. He does not help me around the house.

And now the question arises: “Why do you put up with it all? Go away. I wish I could, but I can’t. Due to the pandemic period, work in our city can not find, the child is periodically at home, kindergartens are closed for distance learning often.

I do not want to judge, that they say, it’s your fault. No one is saying that it was my fault for not seeing him as such a tyrant. Maybe I am so tired of constant reproaches that by writing my confession, I just want to hear human sympathy, without accusations.
