Put together a young Pisan bartender boy already established on the international scene and a great made-in-Italy fashion brand, add a bit of English style, the air of the Tuscan coast, a twist of exotic suggestions and you get, as in a lifestyle cocktail, the Elisir Elicriso Gucci. It was signed by Giorgio Bargiani, on staff at London’s Connaught Bar, No. 1 on the “World’s 50 Best Bars” list, who created it as a tribute to Gucci Giardino 25, the new café and cocktail bar in Florence’s Piazza della Signoria, handed over to the care of Martina Bonci.
The Elisir is a complex and refined blend, studied for months in the proportions of the ingredients to achieve its distinctive personality: if at first vermouth (“1757 Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry” highlights Bargiani) and plant-based liqueurs seem to prevail, with the citrusy and spicy hints of N.4 Podere Santa Bianca and Muyu Vetiver Gris Liqueur, here to give…
