Whoever you ask – all children as children dream that they had both a daddy and a mommy. For each other to love and spend time with, for all to be well, for the house to be filled with laughter, happiness, and love. But that probably sounds more like a commercial for something on TV than real life.
Real life is much harsher. Children become unwanted by either one or two parents, succumb to abuse, are sent to orphanages, where they cry at night and stand at the faceted gate in the morning like prisoners, waiting to be picked up one day by their father or mother. The tears that run down a child’s face do little to break anyone’s heart. Such children lose the fire in their eyes and grow up to be adults with gray ashes of resentment and sadness inside. That’s what happened to me, too.
No, I was not in an orphanage, I was not mentally or physically abused-I was simply betrayed by my mother and father. My father, when I was very young. He just left and never came back. According to my mother’s story, he told her he didn’t need me. And my mother – what about my mother? She betrayed me and my childhood. She didn’t care about me, just her life and her lovers.
I remember when I was little, there was a new man in our house every month. They didn’t live with my mother for long – they were always changing. She kept them all, gave them food and water. I don’t remember my mother’s affection and love, because she just wasn’t there.
When I grew up, went to university, I immediately moved out of my mother’s house. I was sick of her lovers, and the way she behaved with me. I finished university well, got a great job. I was making good money. And then all of a sudden, my mom showed up. She remembered that she had me and that she loved me very much. She kept waiting for me to give her a couple of thousand. I gave – I didn’t feel sorry for her.
And then she had the nerve to tell me how much she wanted me to send her every month. I was offended by what she did. After all, it turned out that I’m just a purse and love her to buy. Well, as a result, we don’t communicate at all, and it’s like I don’t have a mother at all.
