I have been dating a man for about a year, we are both adults, I have a 15-year-old daughter from my first marriage.
I never demand anything from him, I earn my own money and provide for myself and my child. We are fine in relationships and sex, but his brother and his wife use him all the time. They can call him away from me for their plans, and he goes because it’s his own brother! His wife is always trying to decide how she feels comfortable, can call at night, and they think it’s the right thing to do. And he, instead of being with me, says my brother needs help.
They don’t have a mom, only a dad, and they have this kind of brotherly love that already irritates me. When we have our own plans, they always find a reason to take him away from me, give advice, interfere in our relationship. He has never been married and has no children. My brother can call him in the evening after work to take their daughter to class and pick her up, and that’s considering that my brother’s wife doesn’t work and stays home. So why can’t she do it herself?
They constantly have some problem that for some reason affects everyone: then they are getting a divorce, and at the same time everyone has to participate, I have to support my brother morally, drink with him in the garage, and with all this he puts me on the back burner.
I’m already thinking of breaking up, let him live the life of his brother and his wife. I’m never afraid to be alone. I have a child. I don’t know how to tell him all this and how to talk so as not to offend, and my patience is running out.
