I had a terrible time at school. I was the weakest, quietest, most intimidated person, and that was another great reason to bully me.
It started in fifth grade, when the whole class didn’t do their homework, and I, who was prepared for the lesson, was told to keep quiet, no matter what the teacher asked. Why that was, I don’t understand. But when the teacher asked me, “Anna, what was assigned?” I readily answered. The result – the teacher asked everyone, all except me, because I did everything, they gave me an unsatisfactory mark, and my classmates were really mad at me. That’s how it all started.
They started putting my feet up, pulling my hair, pushing me, and sometimes they deliberately spilled my tea on my own dress in the canteen. The disdain of my classmates turned into fierce hatred. I did not want to go to school, I begged my mother to transfer me to home schooling, but to no avail. Mom somehow did not understand anything and kept saying that it’s me winding myself up, just do not pay attention. But when in the ninth grade, I almost beat my own classmates, I finally put a stop to it and switched to homeschooling.
Now, as a grown woman, I remember with horror how I was bullied.
