My daughter forbids me to see my grandson

I want to confess, it is hard on my soul.

I got married when I was 22 and had a daughter, but my wife and I soon divorced. I did not pay alimony for my daughter, because my wife initiated the divorce. As the years went by, I had relationships with women, but I couldn’t have children.

One day my daughter wrote me on social media that I was not her father and that I did not care about her. I replied that I wasn’t. It turned out that she had undergone a very expensive heart surgery and asked why I was not there at the time. Well, I didn’t know, plus I have a new family – a wife and her son. It turned into a fight.

Then my wife told me the good news that I was going to be a daddy. I was so happy and close to the birth of my son I wrote her that I will be a daddy and let her come to visit with his little brother to babysit, but she told me that he was fostered, and that I and he is nobody to her. Again the quarrel. I tried to fix things with her, but she said you can’t fix what you don’t have.

Another 5 years went by and I found out she got married and had a son. My son and I really wanted to see the baby, but I didn’t know where she lived. Then a relative gave me the address and I came with my wife and sons with flowers and a concert. She wouldn’t even let me on the doorstep and said we weren’t allowed to see her baby.

At night I was awake, reading the very same correspondence with her and remembered her words about her doubting whether my youngest son was mine and then it came to me that he did not look like me or my wife at all. I secretly took a DNA test and it was a zero probability. In the evening I made a scandal and filed for divorce, the apartment was in my wife’s name, and I went to a rental house to live.

One day, when I was coming back from work, I saw her with the stroller, I neatly went over to look at my grandson, but she said that if I made even one more step, she would call the police, and that I would never be able to communicate with my grandson, because I was not worthy of him.
