“Another mouthful…” – Mom said

When I told my mom I was pregnant, she first suggested I get an abortion, but when she found out the baby was three months old and it would be a boy, she sighed: “Another mouth… Well, come on, at least some variety in the realm of women.”

I then graduated from high school, and at the same time a lot of problems piled up. The baby’s father left me as soon as I told him I was pregnant. He was a student, and we met at a city festival, bumping into each other quite by chance in the crowd of people walking. David was a great wooer, he was four years older than me, he knew how to play it cool, and he seemed like the kind of man I had been waiting for. He turned out to be quite an experienced man, I realized this later, but at that time, forgetting everything in the world, I sought him every minute, not paying attention to my mother’s warnings.

My mother had three of us, me and two sisters. My mother had all of us by different husbands; somehow she had no luck in life. It was difficult for her to support us, but my mother tried, working several jobs at the same time. I don’t even know when she slept. Often even at night my mother would run somewhere, leaving me and my younger sister in the care of my older sister.

What my mother warned me about happened. Having achieved what he wanted, David immediately disappeared, stopped answering the phone and deleted me from all correspondence on social networks. For a while I did not believe that he could just give up on me and my future child, but time passed, and the “dad” still did not appear.

My mom, seeing that I was still waiting, sat me down next to her and said:
– Forget about him, you’re probably as unlucky as I am!

I got through the remaining months of pregnancy without any problems, and I gave birth to a healthy baby boy on time. Thanks to my mom’s support, I was able to overcome all the difficulties, and now we have a wonderful boy growing up. My sisters also help me, most of all my son likes to play with my little sister.

I hope that things will get better for me and I will meet the real man that I dreamed of.
